What is the job market for pilots like right now? What about in 10 years?

For experienced pilots, the job market is not so good in North America and Europe, but is very good in some parts of Asia if you have the right kind of experience. For inexperienced pilots it is not very good anywhere at the moment, but it is improving. No one can know for sure what it will be like in 10 years because aviation is a cyclical and unpredictable business and strongly tied to the state of the worlds economy. So, you pay your money and take your chances.
