Will i go to jail if i missed my court date i didnt know i had?

i had to go to court on may 26th but didnt know and i missed it. i even called before then to ask if i had anymore court dates and they said no. today i got a letter in the mail saying failure to appear and gave me another court date. all it was was to pay the remainder of my fine for a dui in april. so yes they did give me another court date but everyones telling me im going to jail. is this true? im freaking out
