Questions about clomid please help?

I am on my second round of clomid, now taking 100mg and im just getting the feeling like this is not going to work for us! im sure everyone having troubles conceiving feels like its impossible lol. i go to the doctor in about a week and a half for an ultrasound to check my follicles and i was going to ask about the hcg trigger shot. any info on this is appreciated! I was also just wondering if clomid does not work in the 4 months of taking it, what is usually the next step in trying to conceive? Is there anything else besides the trigger shot i could do to up my chances with clomid? Im just feeling like we will never be parents! any success stories or info is appreciated. thanks in advance :)
