Girl help please?!?! frustrated!!!?

about a month ago i got a big painful bump on the lip of my vagina. i went to the doc to see if it was an STD and she said no. it was more than likely an infected hair follicle, or a boil. i popped it, and it went away. now, a month later i have another one on the lip. i haven't started getting these until a month ago. could it be something else? or is the doc more than likely right.
