What should I wear to an opening of a teens club ?

The title pretty much says it all, but I'm 13. I wanna wear my short shorts, but I also wanna wear my tight short skirt. I just dont want to walk in and everyones wearing the opposite of what I'm wearing. So which would seem better short shorts or a mini-skirt ?
