Does it make me a bad person to dye my hair black?

Okay I know this might be a stupid question. Please be nice. Okay I am a gypsy and most of my family has black hair but I have medium brown. I have olivish skin and black eyes with gypsy bone structure. My brownn hair along with all that makes me look like a cheerful ray of sunshin that wants to be everyones friend. WHICH I'M NOT. I really want to dye it black but I was raised to believe that you shouldn't change what you were born with. Would it make me a bad person to dye it black or is it okay?
